Iñaki Domingo

Iñaki Domingo (Madrid, 1978) is a visual artist. Among other awards, he has received the Premio Injuve de Fotografía, PhotoEspaña´s Premio Revelación -as a member of the collective NOPHOTO- and the DA&D Prize in Editorial Design for his book Ser Sangre. He has taken part in the program Estancias para Jóvenes Artistas, organized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, and has been selected to participate in the Joop Swart Masterclass program, from the World Press Photo Foundation. His work has been exhibited widely in individual and group exhibitions in institutions such as the Hubei Museum of Art, the Lodz Art Center, the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, the Fundación Lázaro Galdiano, Tabacalera Madrid or Matadero Madrid, among others, and it is part of public and private collections. He has been the Head of Ivorypress Editorial Department, where he was Creative Editor of C Photo magazine, and Co-Editor of the blog 30y3.com. Actually, he is Creative Editor at Editorial RM. He has co-curated the international exhibition projects Limits of Fashion (Krakow Photomoth 2013) and P2P. Contemporary Practices in Spanish Photography (PhotoEspaña 2014). Since 2014 he is curator-in-residency in CentroCentro (Madrid City Hall) where he is in charge of the program Lanzadera. He is an Associate Professor at IED and Lens, and he gives workshops and artist talks on a regular basis at different schools and universities. He has also been invited to conduct portfolio reviews in festivals like Houston Photofest Moscow or Descubrimientos PhotoEspaña, and has been jury in contests like Fotopres La Caixa, Joven Talento FNAC or Concurso Fotolibro Iberoamericano RM.
